What is a 2D Barcode?
One of the newest trends is QR Codes. A QR Code or “Quick Response” Code is simply a two dimensional barcode that can be decoded by most camera equipped mobile phones. QR Codes can be effectively embedded in magazines, in-store graphics, signage, business cards, and gift cards or any application where additional information is required. By scanning the code on your mobile phone, the user is directed to any website, phone number, SMS text messaging, text description, etc. without having to type or search for the correct link.
